ðŸ Key Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing credit monitoring of the loan portfolio, including performance tracking and forward-looking projections
- Conduct client self-assessment reviews independently and ensure timely credit evaluation
- Prepare new and renewal credit applications, including:
- Financial analysis
- Cash flow projections
- Scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to assess deal structures and identify key business risks
- Provide guidance on loan documentation and credit structure where required
- Oversee loan booking for non-HK offices and monitor non-client-facing accounts
- Ensure full compliance with the Bank's credit policies and regulatory guidelines
- Support internal and external audits, including regulators such as HKMA, BOJ, and JFSA
- Actively manage assigned portfolio by monitoring:
- Client developments
- Market news
- Key indicators (e.g., bond spreads, share prices)
- Participate in ad hoc projects and management assignments
✅ Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus
- Minimum 5 years experience in corporate credit analysis, covering medium to large corporate clients, with exposure to a broad range of lending and related financial products
- Solid technical credit analysis skills with strong financial acumen, esp capability/experience in preparing financial forecast
- Proven ability to evaluate creditworthiness, risk profiles, and financial performance
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Familiarity with AI tools or automation in credit analysis is an advantage
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and consistency in work delivery
