AV, Lighting & Sound Intern (Events)

About Us
Alangkaar (Raja's Catering & Alangkaar Weddings) runs full production for Indian weddings and large-scale events - sound systems, lighting rigs, LED walls, and live AV. Learn event production hands-on, from load-in to show call.

What You'll Do
- Assist with audio setup: speakers, mixers, microphones, and soundchecks
- Assist with event lighting setup and operation
- Support AV needs on event days - projection, LED, and playback
- Cross-support our photography/videography team when needed
- Help maintain, pack, and transport AV equipment

What We're Looking For
- Interest in live sound, lighting, or event production (AV/media students welcome)
- Hands-on, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Comfortable with physical work and weekend/evening event calls (off-in-lieu given)
- No experience required - we'll train you on the equipment
- Students and fresh graduates are welcome to apply

What You'll Get
- Internship of 3 to 6 months, with possibility of extension or full-time conversion
- Monthly allowance of $700 to $1,000
- Real production experience across dozens of live events
- Training on professional audio, lighting, and AV equipment
