Role: Automation Test Engineer

Experience: 3–5 Years

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Contract (1 Year, Renewable)

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
• Prepare test reports and provide regular status updates.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Required Skills

• 6–9 years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong experience in API Testing using REST APIs and tools/frameworks like REST Assured or Postman.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit and Maven/Gradle.
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins is an added advantage.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience with cloud testing platforms or containerized environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
