JOB DESCRIPTION:

WATA Software is looking for PLC Developers (Automation Engineer) to join an industrial automation project. The selected engineers will participate in PLC software development, modification, testing, and commissioning activities for industrial control systems.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with PLC programming, industrial communication protocols, and control system development. Senior engineers are expected to take ownership of technical tasks and support project execution, while Mid-level engineers will work closely with senior members to deliver project objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Develop, analyze, and modify PLC programs using ladder logic.

● Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot PLC applications.

● Support commissioning activities and system validation.

● Analyze existing PLC software and implement functional enhancements.

● Work with industrial communication protocols and control systems.

● Perform simulator-based testing and hardware validation.

● Support analog signal acquisition and industrial monitoring applications.

● Prepare technical documentation and communicate with project stakeholders in English.

REQUIREMENT: 

Senior Level

Must Have:

● 5+ years of PLC development experience. 

● Strong experience with: 

o Omron PLC 

o CX-Programmer 

● Strong ability to analyze and modify ladder logic. 

● Hands-on experience in: 

o PLC programming 

o Testing 

o Commissioning 

● Strong understanding of: 

o Process control 

o Industrial control systems 

● Experience with industrial communication protocols. 

● Experience with analog signal acquisition and industrial monitoring systems. 

● Ability to read and write technical documents in English. 

Mid-level

Must Have:

● 1+ years of PLC development experience. 

● Experience reading and understanding ladder logic. 

● Basic PLC programming experience. 

● Understanding of: 

o Process control 

o Industrial control systems 

● Familiarity with industrial communication protocols. 

● Experience with simulator-based testing and hardware validation. 

● Ability to read and write English technical documents.

Nice to Have

● Experience with industrial automation projects. 

● Experience with factory automation or manufacturing systems. 

● Experience with PLC commissioning at customer sites. 

● Knowledge of HMI, SCADA, or industrial networking. 

● Experience working with multinational engineering teams.
