66kV Authorised Person - Outside IR35 - Taiwan - 6 month minimum contract - March start
I am looking to speak with a 66kV Senior Authorised Person for a role that will cover the maintaince for an offshore wind farm in Taiwan. You must have the 8vm1 training.
Job Description:
- Execute High Voltage HV switching operations in compliance with safety protocols
- Perform maintenance tasks on 66kV turbines.
- Provide coverage as a Authorised Person at substations during work activities.
- Assist the HV Control Room operations.
- Collaborate within HV & Transmission Systems and/or Site Teams responsible for both scheduled and unscheduled high and low voltage maintenance within the Wind Farm.
- Safely manage the HV/LV Network, ensuring safety for working parties
- Maintain awareness of the clients asset management policy and strategy, along with relevant responsibilities of the position.
- Perform electrical isolations, earthing, and switching of the high voltage and low voltage network
Requirements:
- Authorisation as an Authorised Person up to 66kV
- Full GWO
- 8vm1 trained (module 5 preferred)
- Flexibility regarding work schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation
- Strong communication, planning, and reporting abilities
