Position: Operations Audit Program Manager (Remote)

Reports to: Regional Operations Director

Position Overview: The Operations Audit Program Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of all audits conducted within an assigned geographic region—across all schemes, audit types, and program requirements. This role oversees every transactional and operational component of the audit lifecycle, including bidding, contracting, allocation, documentation flow, auditor coordination, and auditee readiness. The Regional Audit Program Manager ensures high-quality, consistent audit execution that aligns with organizational standards and contributes to continuous improvement in audit governance.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Audit Planning & Coordination: Manage the full audit lifecycle for all audits in the region. Determine audit scope and allocate audits to approved audit firms. Coordinate with audit firms to select qualified auditors. Be the regional point of contact for audit firms.
  • Transactional Audit Operations: Lead scoping, bidding, contracting, and related documentation management. Maintain accurate audit management system updates.
  • Responsible for monitoring daily audits and effectively managing the staff to ensure smooth workflow, high performance, and adherence to operational standards.
  • Training: Provide audit firms with training, planning, and survey materials.
  • Auditee Readiness: Work with auditees to assist is preparedness for audits and closure audits and serve as the primary auditee contact during a live audit
  • Audit Firm Capacity Engagement: Manage audit firm capacity in the region. Maintain accurate regional auditor lists. Review audit requests and create a forecast for each regional partner
  • Audit cycle-time: Be responsible for the cycle-time of audits in the region. Monitor timelines and escalate issues, ensure timely re audit initiation, track performance KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Maintain communication with audit firms, auditees, and internal teams. - Support training content and process updates.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in social auditing, with at least 3-5 years in a audit management role
  • Proficient in audit strategies and principles
  • Experience managing audit firms, auditees/customer escalations
  • Proactive, self-motivated team player
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with high standards for work products
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience Desired:

  • Fluent in English with the ability to speak, read, and write
  • Ability to speak conversational Mandarin
  • Expertise in the Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Industry or association experience

Other Pertinent Information:

  • Location – Asia: China or Taiwan preferred
  • Anticipated start date: This position is available immediately and interviews will take place until the position is filled
