Cirrus Logic&aposs Mixed Signal Product Division is seeking an experienced audio tuning engineer to join our high performance team of engineers supporting our boosted audio amplifier products and speaker algorithms. You will play a key role in getting design wins in laptops, mobile products, and more.
Responsibilities
Win and maintain customer accounts by tuning their end products, developing customized demos, quantifying audio performance, and demonstrating software tools
Provide technical support for customers and FAEs by solving acoustic problems, answering product questions, and hands-on debugging
Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams around the world to support customer requests.
Collaborate closely with software teams to define, implement and validate new tools and firmware features
Drive the development of promotional demos for new products and features
Partner with Marketing teams to promote new products during customer visits and conferences
Lead customer and field team technical trainings
Autonomously handle and prioritize tasks with strong sense of ownership and high sense of urgency
Required Knowledge, Skills And Experience
BS in Acoustics, Audio engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar fields, with 3+ years experience in the acoustic industry
Experience evaluating audio products with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, Audio Precision analyzers, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
Understand audio signal processing algorithms and techniques
Strong ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
Proven experience debugging customer issues
Effective interpersonal skills

Experience with the requirements of the PC and mobile markets
