ATE MBIST Engineer Memory Testing | Singapore

ThunderSoft is hiring an ATE MBIST Engineer to support advanced semiconductor memory testing and silicon validation for a global technology project.

This is a hands-on engineering role based onsite at our Chai Chee, Singapore office, focusing on ATE Memory BIST (MBIST), memory test development, silicon bring-up, debug, characterization, and yield improvement.

If you have strong experience in ATE memory testing, MBIST/DFT, Advantest V93K, and silicon debug, this could be a great opportunity to work on challenging next-generation semiconductor products.

What You'll Do

• Develop, debug, and validate ATE MBIST test patterns for semiconductor memory

• Support memory silicon bring-up from pre-silicon preparation through post-silicon ATE validation

• Debug memory-related issues including memory repair, diagnostics, and algorithm/pattern validation

• Develop and maintain ATE test classes and methods using Advantest V93K with SMT7/SMT8

• Perform ATE characterization, failure analysis, and data-driven debug

• Analyze repair, diagnosis, yield, and characterization data to identify root causes and improve test coverage

• Drive yield improvement and test-time reduction through systematic data analysis and test optimization

• Work with MBIST/DFT tools such as Siemens Tessent, Synopsys, or Mentor solutions

• Collaborate closely with Design, DFT, ATE, Silicon Validation, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing teams

• Take technical ownership of complex debug issues and drive them through to resolution

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry

• Strong hands-on experience with ATE Memory BIST (MBIST) testing and validation

• Solid understanding of MBIST/DFT test methodologies and silicon test development

• Hands-on experience with memory test pattern development and debug

• Experience with memory repair, diagnostics, and algorithm/pattern validation

• Strong experience with Advantest V93K and SMT7/SMT8

• Experience with MBIST/DFT tools such as Siemens Tessent, Synopsys, or Mentor solutions

• Proven experience in silicon bring-up, ATE characterization, yield improvement, and test-time optimization

• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

• Good programming skills in Python, Ruby, Java, Perl, or C++
