Qualifications

• BS (MS preferred) in CS, EE or Equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in hands-on network product software testing
• Must have experience with software production release workflow
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of testing and debugging network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, etc.)
• Experience with router and Wireless AP configuration
• Experience with test environment setup
• Experience with testing in cloud-based environments
• Experience managing test automation development
• Experience with System/performance/solution testing of 4G (PGW, MME, SGW) or 5G Packet core solutions (SMF, AMF, UPF) is a plus
• Thorough understanding of LTE and/or 5G call flow is a plus
• Familiarity with 5G packet core configuration and deployment models is a plus
• Experience with UE and RAN simulators for functional, and performance testing is a plus
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Golang, Shell is a plus
• Familiarity with test automation tools is a plus
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD process is a plus

Responsibilities

• Validate, test, and document test results for all software modules
• Provide status and metrics of current QA activities for the purpose of tracking and reporting project information.
• Define, implement and assure the overall quality test methodology, test strategy and release criteria of all products
• Maintain/continue upgrading the regression test environment
• Evaluate test equipment and automation frameworks for 5G UE and gNB simulators
