Job Summary:
We are seeking Associate Technical Program Manager (TPM) for system management software to join the software product management team.
Associate TPM works closely with product management, engineering, validation, production and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software, and ensures that customer satisfaction, schedule, product quality are met. Associate TPM also ensures that the product supports the company&aposs overall strategy and goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage technical projects and programs for the management software & firmware features of next-generation hardware systems from planning to completion through SSDLC (Secure Software Development Lifecycle)
2. Collaborate closely with Software Product Manager (SW PM) and cross-functional teams to research, define, manage, and track technical requirements and design specifications to enable new technology and meet customer requirements
3. Collaborate closely with Software Product Manager (SW PM) and cross-functional teams to review, optimize, and enhance product HW-FW-SW designs and solutions
4. Develop and maintain technical product/feature collateral material related to HW-FW-SW to ensure product&aposs quality, consistency, and accuracy
5. Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors and 3rd party partners for requirements and technical issues
6. Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify problems and provide potential solutions
7. Manage project schedule, provide project status updates to stakeholders, and escalate problems as necessary
8. Evaluate and review System/Rack product release to ensure high-quality product delivery
9. Manage and optimize software license bundle to integrate System/Rack management functions and solutions
10. Improve and refine HW-FW-SW development lifecycle processes for better quality, security, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor&aposs degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), or Computer Engineering (CE) related or equivalent practical experience
2. 3+ years of hands-on experience in system management software solutions
3. Familiar with x86, ARM architecture, BMC, and BIOS
4. Experience in project lifecycle and schedule management
5. Effective written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as a member of a cross-functional team and as an individual contributor
