Job Description

Your Job

Responsible for organizing and supervising work in the production department, and performs other duties as required and reports to the General Manager or Operations Manager

Internal:

  • Work with overseas manufacturing process and make sure that production lines are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Production Planning and Control: Creating and monitoring production schedules and adjusting as needed to meet production goals and forecasted demand. Ensure performance excellence across all shifts.
  • Well communication cross functions for operations efficiency, problem solving.
  • Always keep production operate efficiency with long term plan during business review and customer audit

External:

  • Put together production reports for clients if necessary
  • Customer Service: Ensuring a consistent, quality, product supply to meet sales forecasts

What You Will Do


  • Will be responsible for the overall production of the plant and execution

1.1 Draw an annual plan

1.2 Creating an organization plan and assigning jobs to positions

1.3 According to capacity plan to estimate the operator headcounts

1.4 Production planning

1.5 Operator management

  • Be involved in continuous improvement projects through-out the manufacturing group

2.1 Engineering project execution

2.2 Supervising staffs who manufacturing/ operators/ QA technicians/ to complete work plan, review the production flaws and come up with a continuous improvement

  • Coordinate daily department activities to achieve established goals including a decision on what equipment to use
  • Researches and recommends new equipment purchases
  • Accountability for meeting and exceeding operational goals
  • Appraise performance including reward and discipline operators, resolve problems and address staffing needs

Job Requirements

  • Monitors and ensures implementation of recommend changes in equipment usage to improve labour utilization, production efficiency and department expenses
  • Leads, trains and supervises the Production staff and departments. Leverage current talent pool by solid training Plan
  • Well collaboration with R&D team, Process Engineering team, Quality team. PM team for process efficiency and improvement
  • Consults with engineering and sales to ensure the smooth operation of the plant
  • Execution of company production policies, procedures and standards
  • Setting, monitoring and ensuring that standards for production, quality and safety are met

Who You Are


EDUCATION:

  • BS degree or equivalent.
  • Major in Engineering or related fields

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a production manager or superintendent in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in conducting manufacturing inspections and setting
  • Good knowledge or experience of Quality management and Industrial management as well as related analysis
  • Good communicator and operation management with positive mindset to handle transformation by market strategy
  • Ability to write reports and effectively present information to management and customers

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Competent with MS Word suite of software

PREFERRED: Have a minimum of 5 year of production management experience with strong supervisory and management skills.
