Associate Linguistic Expert-NLP

You will be part of our growing team of Associate Linguists working on a cutting-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP) program. This role involves handling language data critical for the advancement of modern language technologies. We are looking for a native-level Simplified Chinese speaker who is fluent in English, has a keen interest in both theoretical and practical linguistics, and can quickly adapt to new annotation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Annotate linguistic data and support grammar development

Identify and resolve annotation issues and data gaps

Review and maintain annotation guidelines

Monitor data acquisition and curation

Develop and evaluate gold-standard data in collaboration with the client

Review and evaluate natural language data and models

Create and review AI-generated responses

Qualifications:

Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Linguistics or Natural Language Processing

Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening)

[Preferred] Experience with NLP-related projects

[Preferred] Familiarity with word processors, spreadsheets, and regular expressions
