OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking an Associate to join our growing Hotels & Hospitality platform with a primary focus on hotel and resort investment sales projects in Asia. The role will be based in Singapore and will report directly to our Senior Vice President of Hotel Investment Sales Asia.
We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate, highly motivated about adding value and delivering superior results to the team. As an Associate in JLL's Hotels & Hospitality team, you will lead financial modeling, prepare complex marketing materials, drive business development initiatives and create sophisticated pitch documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead primary research and data collection efforts, strategically utilizing AI tools to enhance data quality and research depth;
- Develop and implement new methodologies to leverage existing and new data for business development, client mandates and internal/external reporting;
- Oversee and maintain hotel research databases and internal CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for team decision-making;
- Manage the entire life cycle of investment sales projects from the production of client pitches and investment marketing materials to the coordination of due diligence process and closing procedures;
- Independently conduct underwriting and modelling of direct hotel and hospitality investment opportunities across Asia;
- Lead the production of marketing materials including client pitches, investment marketing materials and due diligence documents, using appropriate digital tools to create compelling, data-driven narratives when beneficial;
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on analyses and deliverables; and
- Identify opportunities to improve team workflows and processes, balancing traditional expertise with selective technology adoption.
Required Skills / Educational Background
- Undergraduate degree in relevant disciplines such as business, hospitality, finance and/or real estate; advanced degree preferred
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, real estate, or financial services
- Proven track record of complex financial analysis and modeling
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent report writing skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Superior presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must be willing to travel in the region
