Associate General Counsel

About the Role:

We are seeking an Associate General Counsel to oversee global legal affairs and support strategic corporate initiatives. This role will partner with senior leadership to manage legal risk, ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, and provide legal guidance across corporate, operational, and capital market matters.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee global legal affairs across the Group's operations
• Provide guidance to legal team members
• Advise on litigation strategies, business operations, and HR-related legal matters
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial and corporate contracts
• Support group level M&A and capital market transactions
• Provide guidance on intellectual property compliance and development
• Manage statutory compliance, corporate policies, and related internal training
• Advise on SOX compliance and other SEC-related regulatory requirements

Required Qualification:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong experience in contract review and negotiation
• Experience in statutory compliance, with exposure to data privacy compliance preferred
• Experience in M&A transactions preferred
• Litigation experience is a plus
• Bar license (US, UK, or Taiwan) in good standing is required
• Experience in UK intellectual property compliance
• Strong cross-functional communication skills
• Professionally fluent in English
• Experience supporting government projects preferred
