We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate Director, Reporting to the Head of Operations, Greater China. This full-time and permanent position is based in Taiwan, allowing you to make a significant impact to our growth.
Key responsibilities:
· Lead and oversee the daily service delivery for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Taiwan regulations
· Drive revenue growth, and achievement of business objectives across all service lines, especially on local Payroll business, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, including:
• Labor and National Health Insurance
• Income tax withholding, filings, and reconciliations
• Taiwan Labor Pension scheme administration
• Employment visa and immigration applications
· Manage the Taiwan market's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks
· Stay abreast of the latest regulatory developments and ensure service compliance with Taiwan laws
· Provide technical advisory to clients on inbound/outbound entity compliance, finance, accounting, payroll, labor law, and employment-related compliance matters
· Manage a portfolio of clients independently, including:
• Attending client meetings
• Providing practical solutions and advice
• Identifying opportunities to expand services
· Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to support cross-border initiatives and support business development activities, including:
• Assisting in proposals, fee quotations, and service agreements
• Preparing marketing materials and participating in client presentations
· Manage client relationships and service delivery, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure high service quality, client satisfaction, and retention
· Lead and develop team members, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
· Design and review reports to meet client business and compliance requirements
· Drive continuous improvement in processes and service delivery
· Perform ad hoc projects as assigned
Key requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related discipline
· Minimum 10–12 years of experience in above field or related corporate services environment, with Payroll, HR outsourcing experiences highly preferred
· Experience in professional services firms is highly preferred
· Strong, hands-on knowledge of Taiwan statutory compliance, accounting, tax and labor regulations
· Experience handling statutory filings, pension schemes, and employment-related compliance
· Proven experience in a client-facing role, with ability to manage client portfolios independently
· Experience supporting business development and identifying client opportunities
· Strong commercial awareness and client management capability
· Strong leadership and team management skills
· High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
