Job description
We are now seeking for Assistant Construction Director - Civil/ Geotechnical.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the construction and planning team for the project development cycle including reclamation, site formation, soil improvement, marine works etc.
- Oversee land formation in low-lying areas to create stable building platforms.
- Identify key risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to ensure project milestones are met.
- Lead tender programs and construction methodologies for government and private bids, ensuring resource-loaded schedules align with business objectives.
- Key liaison with top management and vendors for master program and facilitating progress reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary educated in Civil Engineering , Geotechnical, Construction Management with 15 years of planning and structure experience, primarily engaged with complex and sizable infrastructure projects
- Professional qualification with corporate membership is a plus to this role
- Proven hands-on experience in land reclamation, with deep knowledge of marine construction sequencing
- Excellent domain knowledge with strict compliance with statutory regulations
- A resilient leader with strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills and people management capabilities
