Job Description

The Position

This role is a strategic leader responsible for the comprehensive development, implementation, and oversight of an organization's business intelligence initiatives. This role involves transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive informed business decisions and foster a data-driven culture across the company.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Business Performance and Strategy advisory
  • Develop and provide integrated business intelligence to support the business strategy and drive data-informed decision-making
  • Collaborate with BI analysts, ensuring their professional development and the delivery of high-quality work
  • Partnership with commercial teams to identify business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Conduct deep-dive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to sales performance, market share, and product effectiveness
  • Manage and analyze data from multiple sources, including execution KPIs and sales performance
  • Develop and implement predictive models for forecasting sales volumes and identifying new business opportunities
  • Forecasting and Prioritization
  • Unified syndicated data, competitive intelligence, and the concept of patient funnel into a comprehensive reporting framework that empowers strategic planning, generates long-term forecast and informs executive decision-making
  • Additionally, supporting the marketing team in developing well-structured business cases is also expected
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as a primary point of contact for any business intelligence initiatives, communicating complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with MKT, Sales and MED to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and the measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, market research, or a similar role, preferably within an industry that relies heavily on strategic planning and data-driven insights (e.g., pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, tech, consulting).
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets, identifying trends and patterns. Proficiency in advance Excel, SQL and Python/R/RPA is plus
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven experience in strategic planning or business analysis, preferably in a fast-paced or data-driven environment. Demonstrate the ability to think critically and long-term, aligning analytical initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate data-driven findings clearly and concisely. Ability to combine analysis results with real-world context, creating logical and narrative-driven presentation.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Data Visualization: Power BI, Tableau and dashboard automation
