Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking an Asset Services expert to join their Asia ex-Japan team in Hong Kong. This role offers strong exposure to corporate actions processing, client interaction, and operational risk management within a dynamic global markets environment.
ðŸ Key Responsibilities
- Process voluntary corporate actions (e.g., rights issues, tender offers) across multiple asset classes
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of events, from capture through to reconciliation
- Liaise closely with trading desks, prime clients, and external counterparties
- Investigate and resolve exceptions, breaks, and reconciliation issues
- Ensure timely escalation and mitigation of operational risks
- Support BAU activities and respond promptly to client and internal queries
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and transformation projects
✅ Requirements
- 3+ years experience in Asset Services / Corporate Actions within a global markets environment
- Strong product knowledge across Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, and/or Prime Brokerage
- Proven ability to manage high volumes with accuracy and tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- Experience engaging with prime clients is highly advantageous
- Exposure to process improvement or automation tools is a plus
