JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary
The Associate, Asset Management will support the asset management team in optimizing the performance and value of a diverse portfolio of assets. This role involves assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and strategic initiatives to achieve investment objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the financial modeling and analysis of assets, including cash flow projections, valuation, and performance tracking.

  • Support the preparation of regular asset performance reports, presentations, and investor communications.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the relevant asset classes.

  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., acquisitions, finance, legal) and external partners (e.g., property managers, consultants) to facilitate asset management activities.

  • Participate in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions and dispositions.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of asset enhancement strategies, including capital expenditure planning.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual assets and the overall portfolio.

  • Contribute to the annual budget and business plan preparation for managed assets.

  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the asset management team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in real estate, asset management, investment banking, or a related financial services role.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly organized with a strong commitment to accuracy.

  • Proactive and resourceful with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Familiarity with financial software and real estate databases is a plus.
