Job Summary
The Associate, Asset Management will support the asset management team in optimizing the performance and value of a diverse portfolio of assets. This role involves assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and strategic initiatives to achieve investment objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the financial modeling and analysis of assets, including cash flow projections, valuation, and performance tracking.
Support the preparation of regular asset performance reports, presentations, and investor communications.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the relevant asset classes.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., acquisitions, finance, legal) and external partners (e.g., property managers, consultants) to facilitate asset management activities.
Participate in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions and dispositions.
Assist in the development and implementation of asset enhancement strategies, including capital expenditure planning.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual assets and the overall portfolio.
Contribute to the annual budget and business plan preparation for managed assets.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the asset management team.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in real estate, asset management, investment banking, or a related financial services role.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly organized with a strong commitment to accuracy.
Proactive and resourceful with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Familiarity with financial software and real estate databases is a plus.
