Job Description

About ALP

Ally Logistic Property (ALP) develops and operates next-generation smart logistics real estate across Asia. Our facilities combine industrial-scale property development with automation, data and supply-chain technology — giving customers infrastructure that is not just space, but operating capability.

We are expanding from Taiwan across the region, with new sites, new applications and new market entries running in parallel. That expansion makes brand and communications a strategic function at ALP, not a support one: the market's understanding of what we are building is a direct input to our commercial pipeline, our talent pipeline and our capital story.

The Role

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President, Branding & Marketing to lead ALP's brand, marketing and corporate communications agenda across all markets. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role: you will set the strategy, own the annual plan and budget, and personally drive the highest-stakes work — while building and coaching a small, high-output team.

You will be accountable for three integrated pillars:

  • Media Marketing — the always-on engine. Market education, brand campaigns, owned digital and social channels, and the governance and asset infrastructure that lets a multi-market team move fast without diluting the brand.
  • Events & Business Enablement — the commercial and cultural front line. New site openings, new market activations, product and application launches, employer-brand and culture programmes, and CSR.
  • Public Relations & Corporate Communications — the reputation layer. Executive visibility, regional media relations, awards, thought leadership, and crisis-communications readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Market Education

  • Own ALP's brand positioning, narrative architecture and messaging hierarchy across all markets and audiences (customers, investors, government, talent, media).
  • Develop and maintain ALP's core story themes and communication assets — covering company heritage, flagship facilities, our technology platform, logistics market innovation, supply-chain resilience and excellence, sustainability, and talent development.
  • Plan and execute integrated brand campaigns spanning paid social, press releases and online media placement.
  • Manage ongoing engagement with international business chambers — sponsorship, advertising, speaking platforms and relationship stewardship.
  • Provide marketing support to PR, investor relations and government relations workstreams.

2. Digital, Owned Channels & Website

  • Lead the global website revamp end-to-end — responsive design, multi-market local-language sites, alignment with our digital and data strategy, and data security and privacy governance; own copy standards, design direction, photography coordination, testing and launch.
  • Run always-on social media across global and local channels at a consistent publishing cadence, spanning brand, culture and talent content.
  • Grow follower base, engagement quality and inbound reach across owned channels; report performance and iterate.
  • Build and own ALP's digital marketing data foundation — analytics, attribution basics, and reporting that connects marketing activity to commercial and talent outcomes.

3. Marketing Governance & Operations

  • Launch and embed ALP's marketing governance framework: brand guidelines, a marketing toolbox, and a global asset and tools library accessible to all markets.
  • Stand up a marketing brief management system — a formalised operating protocol with internal stakeholders for how requests are scoped, prioritised and delivered.
  • Own the marketing budget, agency and vendor roster, procurement and cost discipline.
  • Establish a shared calendar and planning rhythm across markets so campaigns, launches and events are sequenced rather than colliding.

4. Business Enablement, Events & Market Activation

  • Deliver marketing support for new site and office openings across markets — pre-launch build-up, opening event and post-launch amplification.
  • Build communication assets for new applications and technology solutions, translating technical capability into commercial language customers understand.
  • Lead go-to-market activation for new market roll-outs and provide ongoing marketing support to established and emerging markets across the region.
  • Run account-based prospect marketing in partnership with the commercial team, plus ongoing trade and product marketing.
  • Plan and execute regional events — customer events, industry thought-leadership forums, and trade presence.

5. Employer Brand, Culture & CSR

  • Define and execute ALP's employer brand strategy and positioning, including recruitment-marketing campaigns and brand publications; partner with HR on talent attraction drives through the year.
  • Own the culture and value marketing plan — staff events across the annual calendar and internal milestone celebrations.
  • Establish ALP's corporate social responsibility guideline with quarterly action items, and deliver CSR activities and their communication.

6. Public Relations & Corporate Communications

  • Drive executive visibility — interviews, bylines, speaking platforms and engagements with industry institutions and government bodies.
  • Run glocal media relations: pitch and place stories with local and regional outlets across our markets; manage media relationships and the press-release pipeline.
  • Own the industry awards programme across our priority categories — real estate and architecture, supply chain and logistics, technology, innovation and sustainability — from shortlisting to submission.
  • Lead flagship content productions, including documentary and film projects on our facilities and technology.
  • Maintain crisis-communications readiness — protocols, holding statements, spokesperson preparation and project-based crisis PR.

7. Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop a lean marketing and communications team, setting clear ownership across media marketing, events and PR.
  • Manage external partners — creative, digital, PR and event agencies, photographers and production houses — to a consistent standard of output.
  • Act as the senior marketing voice in the leadership team: bring commercial judgement, say no well, and translate business priorities into a focused marketing plan.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in branding, marketing or corporate communications, including at least 3 years leading a team or function.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or a related field.
  • Proven ownership of an integrated brand and marketing agenda — strategy through execution — in a B2B or industrial context (logistics, real estate, supply chain, manufacturing, technology or professional services).
  • Strong track record in both brand/digital marketing and PR/corporate communications. This role does not split those two — you need real credibility in each.
  • Demonstrated experience running website projects, always-on content programmes and paid social campaigns, with an evidence-based approach to performance.
  • Experience delivering high-visibility events — site or facility openings, customer events, industry forums.
  • Fluent professional English and Mandarin Chinese, written and spoken; able to set copy standards in both languages.
  • Comfortable operating with a lean team and doing the work yourself when needed — this is a builder's role, not a supervisory one.
  • Sound judgement under pressure, and the discretion required for crisis, investor and government-facing communications.

Preferred

  • Regional experience across Asia, or a track record of standing up marketing in new markets.
  • Background in logistics, industrial real estate, supply chain technology or infrastructure.
  • Experience building marketing governance from scratch — brand systems, asset libraries, brief and intake processes.
  • Exposure to investor relations, ESG or sustainability communications.
  • Employer-brand and recruitment-marketing experience in partnership with HR.
  • Additional Asian language capability is an advantage.

How Success Is Measured

  • Brand presence: quality and consistency of ALP's narrative in market, share of voice versus regional peers, and volume of earned media in target outlets.
  • Owned channel performance: website launch delivered to spec and on schedule; sustained publishing cadence, with follower and engagement growth across social channels.
  • Commercial enablement: marketing contribution to new site lease-up, new market entry and account-based pipeline.
  • Talent and culture: employer-brand impact on candidate quality and volume; employee participation in culture and CSR programmes.
  • Governance: marketing toolbox, asset library and brief management system live and adopted across markets.
  • Readiness: crisis-communications framework in place and rehearsed; awards programme submitted across target categories.

Why ALP

This is a rare scope: a single role that owns brand, marketing and communications for a company that is building genuinely new infrastructure — across multiple markets, at the same time. You will report directly into senior leadership, have direct access to the decisions that shape the business, and see your work reflected in physical assets, customer wins and the people who choose to join us.

If you want a brand role where the product is real, the ambition is regional, and the mandate is yours to define — we should talk.
