Building expert knowledge in our key categories and sharing this with the customer in order to build long term partnerships and increase profit and sales.

About the Role

Leads within the country the development and implementation of category management strategies, this will focus on increasing MJN's in store presence in our categories, strengthening our brands, optimizing product assortment, and promotional strategy. Driving excellence in in store 4P execution across key customers/key accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develops country/customer 4P strategy and tactics in line with respective key account sales and building on global 4P strategy.
  • Defines Category trade marketing KPIs.
  • Defines and manages the trade marketing budget.
  • Contributes to category marketing plans, with customer & category analysis and promotional strategy.
  • Continuous analysis of the customer's position works together with the key account manager to recommend in store actions aimed at strengthening MJN's position in the category.
  • Develops and implements MJN's promotional strategy (in line with brand priorities and media plans) across customers.
  • Presenting on 4P strategy to our customers.
  • Key contact for the brand marketing team with regards to all promotional and customer activity.

Qualifications

  • Prior trade marketing experience with a blue chip fast moving consumer goods company of at least 5 years, and preferably additional functional experience in either: Sales/Key Account function working with key international retailers, or brand marketing.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation.
