Primary Objective:

As the Sales Assistant Manager at Fairview International School, you will support the sales and admissions function in expanding our student base while ensuring that all enrollment activities align with our mission of delivering a world-class International Baccalaureate (IB) education. This role involves proactive engagement with prospective families, assisting in the implementation of sales strategies, monitoring enrollment performance, and collaborating closely with the marketing and admissions teams to achieve enrollment targets and enhance the overall student recruitment experience. You will also provide guidance and operational support to the sales team to ensure consistent service excellence and successful student enrollment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Sales Strategy Execution:

  • Assist in implementing sales and enrollment strategies to increase student admissions in line with Fairview's vision, mission, and growth objectives.
  • Support the execution of student recruitment initiatives targeting both local and international markets.
  • Monitor sales activities and provide regular feedback and recommendations to improve enrollment performance.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective families, guiding them through the entire enrollment process and ensuring a positive, seamless experience.
  • Conduct consultations, school tours, follow-up communications, and enrollment presentations to prospective parents and students.
  • Ensure timely and professional responses to inquiries through various communication channels.

Collaboration with Marketing and Admissions

  • Work closely with the marketing team to support lead generation campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, market response, and customer trends to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment.

Drive Enrollment Growth:

  • Support the achievement of student enrollment targets through proactive lead management and conversion strategies.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure effective follow-up and conversion of prospective families.
  • Assist in developing referral initiatives, community engagement activities, and relationship-building programs to increase enrollment opportunities.

Team Supervision and Development:

  • Support the Sales Manager in supervising, coaching, and developing Enrollment Counsellors and sales team members.
  • Assist in monitoring individual and team performance against established KPIs and enrollment targets.
  • Provide guidance on customer engagement, objection handling, and consultative sales techniques.
  • Promote a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance team culture.

Market Research and Reporting:

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and developments within the education sector.
  • Gather and analyze enrollment data, customer feedback, and market insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management review.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, admissions, student recruitment, or a customer-facing role, preferably within the education sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising, coaching, or mentoring team members.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a consultative sales approach.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication platforms.
  • Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
