About the Role
As Assistant Quality Manager, you will lead the Service Quality/Learning Supportteam and coordinate IPI's quality and accreditation activities. You will work across Operations, Scheduling and Training & Development to keep programmes audit-ready, improve learner service and support the successful introduction of new courses.
You do not need to be an expert in every accreditation framework from day one. We are looking for someone organised and curious who can understand requirements, bring people together and turn them into workable processes.
What You Will Do
Quality and Accreditation
- Coordinate accreditation applications, renewals, submissions andaudit preparation for IPI's local and international training programmes.
- Maintain clear accreditation records, renewal schedules, procedures and supporting evidence.
- Work with process owners to understand requirements, identify gaps and put practical controls in place.
- Conduct internal checks, track improvement actions and help teams close findings on time.
Service Quality and Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach and support the Service Quality/Learning Support team.
- Monitor learner service, enquiry response, record accuracy and complaint-resolution standards.
- Use learner feedback and operational data to recommend straightforward service and process improvements.
- Help the team maintain accurate registrations, learner records, billing support, grant documentation and certification administration.
Training Quality and New Programmes
- Support programme-readiness reviews with Training & Development and Operations before new courses are launched.
- Provide accreditation and quality support for AMPP programmes and approved overseas or multi-industry initiatives.
- Research quality and accreditation requirements for emerging areas such as new energy and nuclear-related training, with guidance from management and technical specialists.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Prepare concise updates on accreditation status, audit actions, service trends and key risks.
- Build constructive working relationships with accreditation bodies, agencies, internal teams and external partners.
- Provide accurate accreditation and certification information to support approved outreach and promotional activities.
What We Are Looking For
- A diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, with around three years of experience in training, education, quality, compliance, operations or another regulated environment.
- Some experience leading people, coordinating projects or taking responsibility for a workstream.
- Exposure to audits, accreditation, quality systems or controlled documentation would be valuable experience with every framework is not expected.
- Strong organisation, communication and follow-through, with the confidence to work across different teams.
- A practical, improvement-oriented mindset and willingness to learn new accreditation and industry requirements.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and digital systems used for training, learning or document management.
- Flexibility for occasional evening/weekend duties and local or overseas travel when needed.
An Advantage, but Not Essential
- Experience in a training provider, process industry or safety-critical environment.
- Familiarity with Singapore training or workplace-safety requirements.
- Knowledge of WSQ and/or ITE Framework.
- An internal-auditor, adult-education, quality-management or project-management qualification.
- Interest in new energy, decarbonisation or nuclear-workforce development.

Additional Notes
The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to support audits or programme delivery. Applicable time-off, transport and meal arrangements will follow prevailing organisational policy.
