Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Programming Manager supports the strategic curation and seamless execution of Capella Taipei's experiential programming. Reporting to the General Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to the Director of Rooms, this role leads the Annual Hotel Activation Plan and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver culturally immersive experiences—encompassing Capella Curates, Capella Moments, and Capella Rituals—that connect guests meaningfully to Taipei's heritage, arts, and culture.

THE ROLE

1.Program Execution

Oversee the planning, scheduling, and operational delivery of brand and guest experience activations, ensuring seamless execution in alignment with the Capella Craft of Hospitality.

2.Experience Curation

Design and develop innovative guest journeys informed by cultural insights and trends, while cultivating strategic partnerships with local artisans and luxury brands to enhance authenticity and distinction.

3.Cross-Departmental Synergy

Collaborate closely with Culturists, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration, consistent storytelling, and elevated guest experiences across all touchpoints.

4.Standards & Finance

Establish and maintain SOPs that uphold operational excellence, while managing programming budgets to optimize cost efficiency and ensure alignment with brand standards.

TALENT PROFILE

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in luxury hospitality, experiential programming, cultural institutions, or luxury/lifestyle brands
  • Proven background in guest experience design, event curation, or lifestyle programming
  • Experience working in high-touch, service-oriented environments (e.g., luxury hotels, private clubs, etc)
  • Prior exposure to brand partnerships, cultural collaborations, or community engagement is preferred

Technical & Language Skills

  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with planning and budgeting tools
  • Experience with CRM or guest profiling systems is an advantage
