Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of environmental mitigation measures and commitments arising from AAHK projects, ensuring compliance with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Ordinance, Environmental Permits (EPs) and other applicable environmental legislation
Manage environmental consultants, specialist consultants and contractors to facilitate the effective delivery of EIA and EP requirements, environmental programmes and project readiness initiatives
Liaise with government departments, regulatory authorities, green NGOs and other stakeholders on environmental matters related to AAHK projects
Support the management of project-related communication channels, including project websites, public enquiries and stakeholder communications
Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental initiatives in areas such as Environmental Monitoring and Audit (EM&A), regulatory compliance and licensing, marine ecology, air quality, water quality, noise management and green building certification (e.g. BEAM Plus / LEED)
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related disciplines
Minimum 6 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g. HKIE, CIWEM, HKIQEP or equivalent) is an advantage
Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
Specialist knowledge and experience in EM&A, regulatory compliance and licencing, air quality assessment, noise assessment, and/or green building design are an advantage
Proven experience in managing environmental programmes and/or large-scale multidisciplinary projects
Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and liaison with regulatory authorities on major infrastructure or public projects
Sound knowledge of Hong Kong environmental legislation and its application to large-scale development projects
Good organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese (i.e. Cantonese & Putonghua)
Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
