Accountabilities


To cope with business expansion and development needs,we are looking foradedicatedand qualitytalent to jointhe Headquarterfinancial controlteam. Reporting to theManagerof Projects, RegionsandGroup Reporting Section, the candidateis required to:

  • Providedaytodaygeneral ledger (GL) support and technical accounting guidance to the Group's regional entities worldwide.
  • Monitor and ensure that monthlyaccountsclosing and housekeeping of the regional entities books of accounts are completed ina timely,accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Oversee and review monthly, quarterly,interimand year-end financial submissions from regional entities to ensure full compliance with Group reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the annual statutory audits of regional entities and ensure that the audit processes are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Standardize accounting practices and policies adopted by regional entities to enhance consistency and compliance.
  • Design, implement, andmonitorfinancial control processes for regional entities, with a focus on strengthening internal controls of the Groupparticipatein Financial Control Reviewsinregional offices.
  • Support regionalentitiesin their budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Collaboratewith other HQ teams to automate and streamline workflows and sub-processes of regional entities and accounting servicecenter, particularly for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
  • Liaise and coach accounting service center in PRC in performing more effective accountingreviewfor all regional entities, and to conduct more in-depthinvestigationif necessary.
  • Produce high quality financial analysis and providesupport ad‑hoc projects and assignments as needed.

Requirements


  • Preferably qualified accountantwithbachelor'sdegree in Accountingor related discipline.
  • Minimum4years'work experience inaccountingfield, work experience in Big 4/MNC is preferable.
  • Knowledge inshippingandlogisticsindustry will be a definite advantage.
  • Relevant work experience in China SOE andJiuqireporting is a plus.
  • Goodanalytical,problem-solvingand presentationskills.
  • Mature, self-motivated, deadline-drivenandcomfortable to work underpressure.
  • Cross departmentalteam-playerwithstrong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate in MS Excel (Advanced)/Word/PowerPointExperiencein SAP is preferable.
  • Proficient spoken and written Chinese and Englishwithgood command of Putonghua.
