Job Description

[What the role is]

This role sits with the Digital Readiness (DR) Group, which is building an inclusive digital society where all Singaporeans are able to use digital technology actively, responsibly and confidently. DR's programmes engage
individuals, schools, and communities across all ages to provide Singaporeans with access to devices, digital skills and opportunities to explore emerging technologies that will enrich their daily lives.

[What you will be working on]

  • Manage IMDA's grant programmes under the Digital for Life and SG Partnership Fund, ensuring effective administration, governance and delivery of fund objectives.
  • Develop impactful projects with public, private and people sector partners by identifying community needs, shaping project concepts, negotiating project parameters and defining measurable outcomes.
  • Review and evaluate grant proposals, prepare grant recommendations, monitor project progress and outcomes, and oversee grant awards, claims and disbursements.
  • Monitor fund utilisation, track key performance indicators and prepare regular reports to support fund management and accountability.
  • Serve as secretariat to the Digital for Life Fund Steering Committee, including preparing meeting materials, coordinating submissions and following up on decisions and action items.
  • Manage key donor accounts and stakeholder relationships, ensuring timely engagement, clear communication and effective stewardship.
  • Support grant administration, governance, systems implementation and process improvement efforts to ensure compliance, operational efficiency and proper documentation.
  • Support key Digital for Life events and partnership-building efforts, including coordinating event logistics, engaging partners and stakeholders, and helping to strengthen awareness and participation in Digital for Life initiatives.

[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant background in disciplines such as economics, business administration, sociology, social work, political science or other related fields.
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the public, community, social service or charity sectors, or in areas such as grant administration, partnership management, business development or industry development.
  • Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and deliver outcomes effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, write clearly and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to prioritise competing tasks, meet tight deadlines and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong aptitude in financial data analysis and project or financial risk assessment is a bonus
  • Self-driven, resourceful and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Position will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
