Job Description

The applicant must possess
  1. a recognized degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or a related discipline
  2. a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in project management, facilities management, or related functions
  3. strong ability to develop management strategies, implement initiatives, and drive organizational objectives
  4. strong analytical and data management skills, with experience in preparing management reports and supporting data-driven decision-making
  5. proven leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
  6. good planning, organizational, and communication skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently
  7. strong initiative and sound judgement, with a commitment to leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and management effectiveness and
  8. excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese possession of a recognized professional qualification in a relevant discipline is an advantage.

Duties include
  1. provide executive support to senior management and assist in the governance, operations, and development of HKIC and its training functions.
  2. support the implementation of strategic plans, policies, and organizational initiatives, including the adoption of AI-enabled and digital solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  3. drive operational improvement, risk management, and cross-functional initiatives to strengthen governance, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
  4. manage institutional projects, facilities, campus operations, and outsourced services, ensuring quality, compliance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  5. prepare management reports, presentations, research, policy reviews, and data analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  6. support budget administration and the planning, management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of training programmes to enhance learning outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
  7. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
