Assistant Manager, IT

This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform requirements assessment, solution design, development, implementation, quality assurance and production commissioning

• Act as the Project Manager of your responsible application systems to ensure timely, quality and within budget

• Liaise and coordinate with a diverse range of internal / external stakeholders, contractor and supplier in relation to planning, project management and support functions

• Review system implementation progress, manage contactors software design and development quality to ensure the implementation of appropriate application architecture, standards and best practices in the development activities, including documentation, design, programming, testing, installation and implementation

• Provide technical collaboration and consultation for AA internal users related to IT Airport Services

• Develop user requirements specifications, functional design and specifications for contractors based on business requirement

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines with at least 6 years relevant working experience in which at least 4 years experience in Project Management and Stakeholders Engagement
• Knowledge in aviation industry, airport and/or baggage handling g systems and Government system interface protocol are preferred
• Experience in leading system development with deliverables of web portal, native IOS application, native Android application, API gateway and backend system is preferred
• Proven application development and support experience in large scale, mission critical systems
• Proven experience of leading project implementation with AWS microservice architecture design
• Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and / or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification is preferred
• proficiency in Windows, UNIX and Linux and major database management systems such as Oracle, DB2 and Microsoft SQL server and related development tool

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge in Putonghua is an advantage
