Job Description:

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide case management support for New Business and Policy Servicing requests, including collecting required information and documentation from clients/brokers and coordinating underwriting requirements.

    • Ensure efficient and effective case processing across policy issuance/renewal, client servicing, and claims-related administration, and undertake other duties as required.

    • Review servicing requests and applications with diverse insurance needs and client circumstances, ensuring clear, complete, and necessary information is provided.

    • Handle premium financing and policy assignment requests (e.g., pledging), ensuring all requirements are met, including affordability assessments and financial evidence requirements.

    • Work closely with Legal and Compliance on assignee bank onboarding review and support timely approval of assignment templates.

    • Maintain service standards aligned with the Sun Life brand to foster long-term client and intermediary relationships.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement through process streamlining and automation help document procedures to support efficient and effective operational control.

    • Support the line manager with quality checks on New Business and Policy Servicing submissions, including documentation completeness, approvals, and data/record retention in administration systems (e.g., Neutrinos/Ingenium/SIS).

    • Ensure all processes comply with internal guidelines, operational standards/procedures, and applicable regulations and laws.

    • Build strong relationships with clients and sales stakeholders provide proactive support to product/proposition initiatives and help expand HNW operations coverage across Whole Life, Universal Life, PPLI, and VUL.

    • Prepare regular management reports to monitor operational performance and identify enhancement opportunities.

    • Support and facilitate internal and external audits as required coordinate follow-up on findings until closure.

    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for HNW-related projects identify opportunities to enhance processes in response to regulatory change and service excellence goals.

    Skills and Experience

    • Experience in HNW operations and case management, with product knowledge in Universal Life and Whole Life insurance.

    • HNW underwriting knowledge is an advantage.

    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Strong problem-solving skills across Operations and Policy Administration, including identifying suitable wealth structuring solutions for clients.

    • Good understanding of AML, KYC, CDD, sanctions screening, and operational risk controls able to balance business facilitation with risk management to protect company interests.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of solid insurance operations experience (HNW case management experience is an advantage).

    • Professional qualification in life insurance (e.g., FLMI or HKFI) is an advantage.
