Responsibilities
- Manage a full set of accounts and ensure timely monthly and year-end closing.
- Assist in monthly closing, year-end closing and audit schedules.
- Preparation of monthly reporting pack and presentation for management meeting.
- Responsible for corporate tax and VAT compliance, government incentive scheme and statistics surveys and statutory matters.
- Provide financial analysis to management.
- Participate in monthly stock take, review stock take report including investigation of discrepancies.
- Involve in quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting.
- Liaise with internal and external auditor and tax agent.
- Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Involve in ad hoc duties as and when assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accounting or relevant Professional Accounting Qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in this role.
- Good knowledge on Financial Reporting Standards, and Advanced Excel skills (pivot table, VLOOKUP, Macros is an advantage).
- Experience in retail industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision/Microsoft Business Central accounting system will be an advantage.
- Ability to work with people in different levels of the organization.
- Meticulous and keen eye for details; strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Committed, confident personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
