Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Finance is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation of full sets of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, dashboards, and executive presentations for Senior Management.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial planning activities.
Analyse sales, gross profit, operating expenses, and business performance, providing actionable recommendations to improve profitability.
Support the Finance Manager in business planning, financial strategy, and decision-making.
Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities to ensure statutory compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
Professional certification such as ACCA (or equivalent) is preferred.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant working experience
Proven experience in handling full-set accounts independently.
Good understanding and application of MFRS 16 (Leases).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
