This is not a traditional ballroom or banquet sales role. We're looking for someone who understands Singapore's lifestyle, dining, nightlife, brand activation, and events scene — and knows how to turn creative opportunities into confirmed business.
What You'll Be Driving
- Restaurant and bar buyouts
- Poolside and terrace events
- Brand launches and activations
- Private celebrations and intimate weddings
- Influencer events and lifestyle collaborations
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and secure new business opportunities across corporate clients, agencies, lifestyle brands, PR partners, event planners, and creative networks
- Lead outbound prospecting, networking, relationship-building, and direct sales initiatives
- Conduct venue show-arounds, client presentations, and commercial pitch meetings
- Develop tailored proposals, quotations, and event packages aligned with revenue targets and minimum spend requirements
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through conversion and post-event relationship development
- Work closely with Food & Beverage Operations, Culinary, Marketing & Communications, and Hotel Operations teams to ensure smooth handovers and successful event delivery
- Identify strategic partnerships that strengthen The Standard, Singapore's position within the local lifestyle and hospitality scene
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage sales, restaurant or lifestyle venue event sales, brand partnerships, or agency-side roles
- Strong preference for candidates from restaurant groups, lifestyle hospitality brands, nightlife or dining concepts, creative agencies, or PR agencies
- Proven track record in business development, sales generation, and relationship management
- Strong understanding of Singapore's lifestyle, dining, hospitality, and events market
- Confident in selling and closing high-value buyouts, activations, and partnerships
- Excellent networking, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proactive, self-driven, commercially minded, and results-oriented
- Able to support events during evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required
This is a 6-month contract role, with potential for conversion to a permanent full-time position based on performance, revenue contribution, and pipeline development.
