About the Role

The Assistant Manager, Revenue Recognition & Settlement reports to the Senior Manager, Billing & Settlement and plays a key role in supporting end‑to‑end finance operations. The role focuses on accurate revenue recognition, billing execution, provider settlement processing, and reconciliation activities. The position also contributes to process enhancements, controls, and automation initiatives to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with Group standards.Roles and Responsibilities:

Revenue Recognition & Billing Operations
Execute day‑to‑day revenue recognition activities in accordance with accounting policies and Group standards.

Support daily billing cycle management, ensuring billing schedules, fee calculations, and adjustments are completed accurately and on time.

Ensure proper posting of revenue, billing, and receivable transactions in the system.

Settlement & Reconciliation
Handle provider payment processing, settlement validation, and related reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Validate and reconcile accounts across billing, provider payments, and revenue modules to ensure data integrity.

Investigate discrepancies, prepare exception reports, and follow up on outstanding items.

Process Design, SOPs & Automation
Assist in documenting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for revenue, billing, and settlement processes.

Support process improvement initiatives, including workflow streamlining and automation projects

Participate in system enhancement testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data validation exercises.

Performance Monitoring
Support the monitoring of key finance operations KPIs, such as billing accuracy, turnaround time, reconciliation completeness, and settlement timeliness.

Prepare periodic operational performance reports and highlight areas requiring attention.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with Business Development and Network Teams on contract-related billing and settlement matters.

Coordinate with the Network Team on daily billing requirements, provider fee schedules, and settlement queries.

Liaise with IT on system issues, enhancement needs, and process automation.

Credit Control & Risk Management
Support credit control activities, including issuing billing to insurers and corporates and monitoring outstanding receivables.

Follow up with stakeholders on overdue items and provide status updates.

Assist in identifying financial and operational risks within the revenue and settlement cycle.

Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to internal control policies and corporate governance standards.

Assist with audit preparation, provide supporting documentation, and support remediation of audit findings.

Ensure compliance with Group Reporting Requirements and relevant accounting and regulatory standards.

Perform ad hoc analyses, reporting, and project tasks as assigned
