Assistant Engineer

Your Role

• Perform Mobile Indoor Network (Mobile & WiFi) E2E solution, including system & coverage design, solution execution, contractor supervision, acceptance and on-going site O&M
• Lead a team to complete the projects and tasks assigned by management
• Develop coverage solutions to address customer needs and deliver the solutions within tight schedules and budgets
• Coordinate and liaise with various internal and external parties such as MTRC, BMO of sites, contractors, vendors and suppliers for projects and O&M needs
• Assist in testing and evaluating new radio technologies / equipment
• Improve operational efficiency by tool development

To Succeed in the Role

• Higher Diploma / Associate Degree / Degree holder in Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related disciplines
• 5 years experience in Telecommunication and with sound knowledge of Mobile and WiFi radio design and planning
• Keep abreast of the latest technologies and developments in Wireless network design including Mobile 5G and WiFi
• Hands-on experience in programming (iOS, Android and Windows base) for tool development and database management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
