Assistant Director, Group Risk Management

Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Risk, this is a Second Line of Defense (Line 2) role responsible for driving, overseeing and enhancing the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework across Frasers Property (FPL) Group. As the BCM programme lead, you will drive enhancements to the BCM Framework, collaborate closely alongside colleagues at both the Group and Business Units (BUs) levels, providing guidance, independent review and challenge to ensure Operational Resiliency.

Job Description

• Oversee the FPL Group BCM programme
• Develop, review and maintain the Group BCM Framework
• Collaborate with Group and BU stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation, alignment and maturity of Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Incident, Emergency, Crisis Management and Major Incident Notification and Escalation plans
• Establish the Group's BCM exercise strategy and facilitate Group crisis simulations while providing an independent review and challenge on the execution of BU-led exercises to validate operational readiness and resiliency
• Deliver structured training and briefing sessions to elevate BCM awareness and build core resilience capabilities across the Group
• Prepare regular BCM updates and assessments to the Head of Risk, Senior Management and Board Sustainability Risk Management Committee
  
  

Key Qualification

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8-12 years of relevant working experience in managing Business Continuity, Crisis Management or Emergency Planning
• Professional certifications such as Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) or Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) preferred
• Extensive knowledge in Business Continuity standards (ISO 22301), Enterprise Risk Management (ISO 31000, COSO) and SGX-ST requirements
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with key stakeholders effectively
• Positive attitude and self-motivated team player with the ability to maintain composure and structural clarity to perform in high-pressure environments
