Position and Openings

The department is recruiting two full-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, or be able to obtain the doctoral degree by the appointment date.

Areas of Specialization and Requirements

The two full-time faculty positions are for candidates with expertise in electrical engineering and related fields. Preference will be given to those with specialization in AI, IC design, communications, or control systems, and those who possess the ability to teach entirely in English.

Expected Start Date

The anticipated appointment date is August 1, 2026, though the actual reporting date may be adjusted according to administrative procedures.

Required Application Materials (both paper and electronic formats)

• Applicants should first email an electronic copy of the Personal Information Form (using the designated template), curriculum vitae with attachments, a list of courses they are qualified to teach, and course outline descriptions. The course information should include courses from the department's existing curriculum that the candidate can teach as well as any new specialized courses they wish to develop if appointed.
• Educational credentials, complete transcripts from all post-secondary institutions, and a doctoral dissertation abstract must also be provided as originals or scanned copies, with all paper documents mailed to the department. Foreign academic credentials and employment certificates must be authenticated by the appropriate overseas offices. Candidates who have not yet completed their doctoral degrees should indicate their expected dissertation defense date.
• A list of publications from the past five years should be included, along with full copies of up to three representative works. The Personal Information Form should be emailed first, while the credentials, transcripts, and publications should be provided as originals or scanned copies with all paper materials sent by mail.
• Three letters of recommendation are required and may be sent directly to the department's email address or included with the paper application materials. Additional supporting materials that may strengthen the application are welcome, such as evidence of awards or certificates demonstrating English oral proficiency.
