Faculty Position Announcement for the Department of Chemistry at National Dong Hwa University

Position

A full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Ph.D. from a university or an institution accredited by Ministry of Education (Taiwan) and at least one-year post-doctoral experience by the date of applying. All research areas in chemistry or related disciplines are welcomed. While an Assistant Professor is the focus of this search, exceptional senior faculty applicants will also be considered for a tenured Associate Professor appointment. The successful applicant is expected to demonstrate the potential to develop renowned independent research program and a commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ability to support English-taught chemistry courses is strongly preferred.

Starting Date

February or August 2027.

2. Copy of Ph.D. degree certificate and Transcript from graduate school (including Master's program) (Foreign diploma, transcript and/or employment certificate must be verified by the ROC Embassies or Missions Abroad).
3. Complete list and copies of academic publications in recent five years (including Ph.D. dissertation for whom to apply the Assistant Professor position).
4. Three letters of reference (For whom to apply the Assistant Professor position, one letter from the applicant's Ph.D. supervisor is required. The external referees may send the letters by post to the address below or directly email the letters in PDF to [Confidential Information]).
5. A teaching statement (indicating the courses that can be taught and syllabi)
6. A research plan
