Assistant Accountant

Job Overview

As an Assistant Accountant, they are integral to Finance Operations, focusing on Accounts Payable and supporting month-end closing activities to ensure precise financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day transaction activities and vendor master management, ensuring smooth operations.
• Prepare account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Participate in month-end closing activities, including accruals and provisions, to maintain accurate financial reporting.
• Align vendor and business partnerships with Group Accounting Policies, enhancing collaboration.
• Assist in revamping Finance Operations workflows and processes, driving efficiency improvements.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Proactive and self-reliant, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferred experience with Yardi and SAP (S/4 HANA) systems.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
