This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct architectural feasibility studies and prepare presentation materials for alteration and improvement works
- Provide technical support to internal departments in obtaining the approval of CAPEX works
- Prepare tender documents, coordinate with in-house architects, engineers, draftsmen, quantity surveyors, procurement officers, external consultants, etc., to ensure all tenders are issued and awarded within the approved timeline
- Coordinate with in-house inspectors and superintendents to ensure the works are completed in a safe and quality manner
- Assist the Architect to manage works and consultancy contracts to ensure the projects are delivered within the approved timeframe and budget, and align with the project and operational objectives
- Ensure smooth handover of completed works to stakeholders and maintenance teams, and follow up with all defects and outstanding items until the issuance of Final Certificate to the contractors
- Assist the Architect to approve and monitor tenant's fit-out works at the airport
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Architecture or related disciplines with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in architectural design, of which at least 2 years in project management role
- Previous experience in transport related building/complex, alteration and addition projects and fit-out works would be an advantage
- Proficient in architectural rendering and Photoshop software are essential. Knowledge in CADD software MicroStation, Building Information Modelling and AI tools would be an advantage
- Team player with good communication, interpersonal and organising skills
- Proactive, service oriented and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
