Apptio Developer

We are looking for an experienced Apptio TBMS Developer to design, develop, and maintain Technology Business Management (TBM) solutions using Apptio TBM Studio (TBMS). The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT Financial Management, cost allocation, financial modeling, and data integration to deliver accurate IT cost transparency and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain TBM models using Apptio TBM Studio (TBMS).
• Configure cost allocation models, business rules, metrics, hierarchies, and transformation logic.
• Develop IT cost transparency and financial models aligned with TBM taxonomy.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports for IT spend, cost allocation, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Integrate and validate data from enterprise systems such as SAP, Anaplan, CMDB, HR systems, and cloud platforms.
• Perform data mapping, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with IT Finance, TBM Office, FinOps, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business insights.
• Support model testing, deployment, governance, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvements in model performance, data quality, and reporting automation.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Apptio TBM Studio (TBMS).
• Strong understanding of Technology Business Management (TBM) and TBM Taxonomy.
• Experience in IT Financial Management (ITFM), cost allocation, and financial modeling.
• Strong SQL and Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, data transformation, and data validation.
• Experience with cloud cost management and FinOps concepts.
• Exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP, Anaplan, CMDB, AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake.

Preferred Qualifications

• Apptio TBM/TBMS Certification.
• Experience in IT Finance or TBM Office.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience in General Insurance, BFSI, Telecom, or Technology domains.
