This role will employed through Jiuyau in Taiwan, helping to service AxEnd products internationally. AxEnd, Inc. produces various radar modules, developing state of the art radar products in both the security and medical devices fields. Seeking an entry level Applications Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for helping customers with the installation and trouble shooting of AxEnd's radar- based devices. Training will be provided, must be able to travel to China for initial training. Travel will be required if customer's issues can't be trouble shot remotely.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with installation and trouble shooting of radar devices- travel required
- Preform routine software maintenance
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
- Test company's product, learn how to set up test environment.
- Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
- Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
- Contribute to sales presentations, as well as demonstrating prototypes and completed applications
- Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
- Document all tasks and procedures
- Perform routine software maintenance
- Sometime go independently to customer site to take a field report
- Communication with customers, knows the customers requirements, issues, help them resolve problems
- Communication with headquarters engineers, learn how to upgrade product
Assist and troubleshoot API integration
Qualifications
- Must be hard working, patient, and willing to travel
- Proficient in English
- Legally able to work in Taiwan
- Be good with customers and have good interpersonal and communication skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Must have ability to travel internationally for training in China
- Knows blue tooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and COM port communication concept a plus.
- Knowledge of Java, Python, Postman, or other programming languages a plus
- Familiar with API
- Experience with drones, security systems, and health care are a plus
- Must have legal authority to work within the US
