The Application Support Engineer plays a key role in maintaining system stability and ensuring timely identification, tracking, and escalation of application issues. As part of the service delivery function, this role requires understanding of our client's business applications and operational processes to effectively manage incidents, support daily operations, and proactively mitigate system risks, i.e. sales system and operation application. The position involves close collaboration with business users, regional support teams, and solution managers to ensure the reliability and sustainability of both customer-facing and internal systems across all business divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for business users in logging system issues and tracking resolution progress
- Perform initial troubleshooting to assess root causes and determine incident severity
- Coordinate escalation processes and provide timely status updates to stakeholders, including business users and solution managers
- Collaborate with solution managers to validate system performance before and after deployment
- Identify recurring issues, analyze trends, and proactively flag potential risks
- Prepare regular incident reports and operational updates for management review
- Monitor system health and ensure the stability of Client's applications
Requirements:
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Minimum1 year of experience in application support, service delivery, or system operations
- Understanding of retail and luxury business environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise applications, digital tools, and support ecosystems is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of incident management and troubleshooting methodologies is an advantage
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Detail minded, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities is preferred
