Who We Are

APeC Datacenter Organization mission is to expand the ST billing thru promotions, customers design support and validation of the different products involved in the several applications related to Datacenter, which include Discrete, Analog and microcontrollers products.

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer (FAE) focused on MCU with expertise in data center power conversion systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Application Senior Engineer, you will provide customers with technical support and validation of the different MCUs involved in the several applications related to Datacenter,.

You will work closely with customer engineers to troubleshoot technical issues, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to customer success across the APeC region. Through your technical expertise and customer interaction, you will also support the growth of our business. You will work closely with Analog and Power FAE to embed the MCU in ST Solution to be provided to customers.

  • Support the Development, testing, and validation of AC-DC, DC-DC converters, power supplies, and power management systems tailored for data center environments focusing on MCU
  • Provide technical support to customers on MCU products in Datacenter Applications.
  • Support ST AI Tools and Eco systems
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, Analog and Power FAE team to promote ST's solutions for data center applications including Analog, Power and MCU products.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues related to uC in power conversion systems
  • Participate in customer design reviews, prototype bring-up, and qualification activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key engineers at key customer accounts to ensure successful project execution
  • Collaborate with FAE teams in Japan, Taiwan, and South Asia to support customers across the APeC region.

Your Skills & Experiences

  • 6+ years of experience in MCU-based Embedded systems or in AI development, or similar technical support roles, with data center power standards and architectures (e.g.,800V power distribution, ACDC).
  • Experience in design-in and design-win activities for 32-bit MCU products
  • Knowledge of digital power control, MCU firmware development and device driver development
  • Basic knowledge of MCU architecture, such as ARM and PowerPC.
  • Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers programming in C/C++
  • Knowledge of Digital Power Conversion for AI Datacenter
  • Experience working in semiconductor industries supporting OEMs or system integrators.
  • Able to work on challenging technical subjects with high level of autonomy
  • Ability to analyze test data and communicate technical results effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
