Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The business is complex and ambitious with a milk supply pool of 2 billion litres of milk, drawn from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties.

The Group's Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.

The Role:

At Lakeland Dairies , we create dairy and dairy-based solutions used by chefs, bakers and foodservice professionals across the globe. Our brands are trusted in over 100 markets, with particularly strong growth across APAC.

Now, we're looking for a commercially minded, culturally curious marketer to help accelerate our international foodservice presence across some of the world's most exciting markets.

This is not a traditional desk-based trade marketing role. You'll work across markets like China, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea and beyond, helping shape campaigns, activations, chef engagement programmes, launch assets, distributor initiatives and digital content that genuinely resonate with operators on the ground.

This role is a hands-on APAC Trade Marketing & Activation Manager, combining strategy with strong operational delivery. Scope includes all our markets across Greater China & SEA.

Key responsibilities will include (Not limited to):

  • Develop, implement and communicate international trade marketing and activation plans in collaboration with Trade Marketing Controller, central marketing team, and Commercial teams as part of the annual marketing planning process.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to deliver activities in line with business plans and priorities.
  • Manage the international activation budget across focus markets, including brand investment, expenses, grants/funds.
  • Create and manage production of all marketing collateral, ensuring cultural relevance and sensitivities are considered across markets.
  • Develop asset packs to support new product launches and hero recipe concepts across relevant platforms.
  • Manage translations and ensure propositions are delivered accurately against briefs.
  • Support the company's presence at relevant trade events, both in-market and during visits to the UK/Ireland from import principals and government agencies.
  • Develop campaigns and content to inspire import principals and stimulate brand demand with foodservice professional.
  • Support our digital agenda in relevant markets (China, Thailand, Indonesia)
  • Act as a brand ambassador with import principals and end-users

The Person

  • Extensive, proven experience in executing trade marketing and activation plans from across multiple markets
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Experience working with distributors or partners in international markets (APAC required)
  • Strong understanding of end-user needs within foodservice channels
  • Food industry experience and a passionate self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments and takes ownership of results
  • A relationship builder who can influence cross-functional teams and external partners
