The Role:
Entegris is seeking 2nd shift
Quality Technician for KSP facility. The Quality Technician will provide laboratory support for production of our Micro-Contamination Control and Membrane products as well as for R&D development testing. The QA technician will prepare and test samples using ICP MS, Ion Chromatography, TOC analysis, Titration, NVR, LC-CAD, and GC-FID/MS.
In this role you will:
- Carry out routine tasks accurately and following standard operating procedures to carry out analyses.
- Prepare analytical standards, reagent mixes and/or deliver production chemicals used in testing process.
- Review and report data with assistance from Analytical Chemists.
- Perform daily checks on instrumentation and perform basic troubleshooting on testing equipment.
- Keep equipment in a clean and serviceable condition and ensure the safe removal of waste in accordance with company established safety procedures.
- Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced and that everything is clearly and correctly labelled.
- Handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- BS Degree of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Over 1 year working experience as an Analytical technician or minimum of degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline with no experience.
- High attention to detail is key to success in this role.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to follow instructions and strictly follow procedures.
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
- Some exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred.
