About this team
The Retail Planning and Optimization team translates the retail strategy into actionable labour plans that support an exceptional guest experience in every APAC store. By combining machine learning forecasting, workforce analytic and a deep understanding of store operations, this team ensures that labour is allocated efficiently, effectively and in alignment with our business priorities. The team also drives labour reporting and insights to support stores and SSC leadership.
A day in the life
- Play a key role in creating labour plans for all locations in APAC, leveraging both machine learning forecasts and Excel-based methodologies
- Conduct data analysis to support planning accuracy, identify trends and provide recommendations for optimization opportunities
- Story tell planning methodology to teach and enroll store leaders in the labour planning process
- Develop and maintain planning models using Excel and other tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data
- Assist in the preparation of planning reports and presentations for leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- 2-5+ years of experience in a data-driven planning or analytical role (relevant experience in retail is ideal)
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and other planning tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
