Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Support the management of domestic and regional investment portfolios by assisting in performance monitoring, partner engagement, and asset-level initiatives that protect and enhance long-term value, providing broad exposure to portfolio oversight, cashflow tracking, governance processes, and ESG-related enhancements within an institutional investment platform.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in monitoring asset-level performance against market and fund-level benchmarks.
  • Support the preparation of periodic performance reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Analyse variances between actual performance and business plans, highlighting key drivers and risks.
  • Support feasibility analysis for asset enhancement initiatives, including refurbishment, tenant mix optimisation, and operational improvements.
  • Assist in tracking execution progress of approved asset initiatives.
  • Support engagement with asset manager, property managers, and JV partners.
  • Assist in collecting, analysing, and monitoring ESG and sustainability data at asset and portfolio levels.
  • Support the integration of ESG metrics into asset performance reviews and reporting frameworks.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving long-term asset resilience, competitiveness, and institutional relevance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pass in Bahasa Melayu, including the oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business, Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institution
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in real estate investment, infrastructure, project finance, investment banking, or a related institutional investment role
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity with data analysis tools is an advantage
  • Strong interest in real estate and asset management
  • Proactive, curious, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Skilled in writing and presentations
