Job Description

At Jobchain, an innovative and fast-growing company in the crypto-asset sector, we are looking for an AML Officer / Compliance Officer with a strong understanding of Taiwans AML/CFT regulations and experience implementing compliance frameworks for Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs). The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, supervising, and improving our compliance systems in our Taiwan entity.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Taiwans AML/CFT laws: Money Laundering Control Act (MLCA) and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act (CTFA).
• Familiarity with Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) regulations, KYC/CDD/EDD procedures, and transaction monitoring requirements.
• Experience with financial market laws (Securities and Exchange Act, Banking Act, Trust Enterprise Act).
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (Personal Data Protection Act, PDPA).
• Experience in compliance roles in financial services, fintech, or crypto sectors.
• Ability to design and implement internal compliance policies, risk management systems, AML/CTF controls, and training programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills inChinese and English. Spanish is optional.
• International compliance certifications (CAMS, ICA, CCEP) are a plus.
• Understanding of crypto-assets, blockchain, and digital custody is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Jobchain Taiwans compliance program according to AML/CFT laws and FSC regulations.
• Monitor compliance with transparency, governance, internal controls, and user protection obligations.
• Act as the point of contact for Taiwanese regulators.
• Evaluate and mitigate compliance risks through preventive and corrective controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare regulatory reports.
• Support product and technology teams to ensure regulatory alignment of new services.
• Foster a compliance-driven culture across the organization through training and ethical leadership.
