The Delta Robotics Innovation Center (DRIC) is established to support Delta Electronics long-term robotics development. Its primary purpose is to build and enhance Delta's capabilities in robot design, manufacturing, and integration. Rather than focusing on delivering specific products, the center aims to cultivate core competencies that enable Delta groups to efficiently develop and commercialize robotics-based solutions. Responsibilities: . Design and implement novel AI algorithms and foundation models for general-purpose robots and embodied agents. . Develop and optimize training and inference pipelines for large-scale vision-language and multimodal models. . Fine-tune models for robot-specific tasks such as motion planning and manipulation, including reinforcement learning (RL) techniques. . Collaborate with simulation teams to validate models in physical simulators and integrate them into robot planning and control systems. . Build and maintain scalable GPU-based distributed training infrastructure and efficient data pipelines for model development.
